Product March 2021

Compliance.ai is introducing new features that help our clients filter out the noise so you can optimize your compliance activities.

Introducing: Business Profiling: Punch in your company name, and we’ll do the rest
Our new business profiling feature enables you to quickly build the recommended default filters for topics, concepts, and regulatory sources across jurisdictions that match your organization’s business profile. The business profile-specific default filters tune the dashboard and search experience to meet your needs. In the near future we’re extending business profiling to enable team-level mapping. Stay tuned!

Use Concepts to hone in on the changes relevant to you
We’ve made it easier to use Regulatory Concepts: you can apply them using filters both in “basic” and “advanced” searches. The combination of Topics & Concepts provides you the fine grained business and operational regulatory focus, helping you hone in on matters relevant to you and your team, reducing the noise and routing changes to the right person in your team, more quickly and effectively.

Please continue monitoring our inventory of concepts as it continues to expand, and don’t forget to suggest concepts you’d like to see added to the platform.

Establish your Business Profile to begin searching more efficiently.

If you’re an organization administrator (org admin), use the top-right side avatar to access Profile > Admin to establish your company profile in four simple steps. Your business profile drives the recommended topics, concepts, jurisdictions and regulatory agencies for everyone in your organization. Default Filters are automatically applied to your Timeline, Enforcement, and News views and, with a click of a button can be applied to your dashboard widgets and custom searches.

Profile-guided filters help you dig deeper into our repository of agencies & document types, making it much easier to follow regulatory news you might not be considering today. In addition, you’ll be able to help all of your team members get the most out of Compliance.ai without establishing their preferences at an individual level. Of course, if you’ve developed a set of defaults that work for you, you can keep them. Our business profile capabilities allow you to maintain your own defaults or adopt organization-level defaults as needed.

Developer Platform Enhancements

The API Search Endpoint has new parameters that can be used for filtering content. Now you can use updated_to and updated_from search criteria to get results based on when Compliance.ai last made changes to those documents.

You can test out these new parameters using our Interactive API and start creating your own regulatory research application.

Additionally, Compliance.ai has increased the quota per day for each API subscription plan to account for authorization related requests. You can find more details in the API User Guide under the Authorization section.

Expanding Regulatory Coverage

We continue expanding the depth of our Canadian regulatory content, adding coverage for provinces of  Saskatchewan, Newfoundland, Labrador, and the Northwest Territories amongst our jurisdictions.

Europe has also been the target of Compliance.ai’s international expansion adding the EU Parliament as a new agency to follow, along with expanded coverage of financial agencies in Germany and the United Kingdom.

Finally, we have added a new source for the SEC’s final rules, enabling users to have access to these new regulations ahead of its publication on the Federal Register.

Update your Default Filters at any time to take advantage of our new international sources.

We hope you enjoy the new capabilities introduced in the solution.
